In a snap decision this morning we've decided to do a day trip to Montserrat because the weather is promising to be fairly steady and calm. After one night there we'll complete another day passage to Guadeloupe. Although this change of plans means that we don't get to explore Nevis, it means no night passage for a while, which makes us all happy right now. And we are leaving with a fully repaired autopilot! We had a wonderful day exploring St. Kitts by car earlier this week, which I will write about soon.
Montserrat has an active volcano which often spews smoke and ash, so it will be a most interesting place to see from the water.
